The National Basketball Championship, hosted by Vikasa School in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, unfolded from October 27th to November 3rd, 2023. A total of 17 students from Vidya Niketan School were selected to represent the state in different age categories. Notably, the under 14 girls secured bronze, the under 17 girls claimed silver, the under 19 boys bagged gold, and the under 14 boys remained undefeated to secure gold. Furthermore, three students from VNS were chosen to represent the ICSE Team India at the upcoming SGFI tournament in Rajnandgaon, Chattisgarh, under the guidance of basketball coaches Mr. Pramod and Mr. Shoiab Khan.
