ISCSchool > Versatalia: A Celebration of Talent and Teamwork

Versatalia’ an inter-house event was held over two exciting days, showcasing the exceptional talents and intellectual prowess of students through a series of competitions.

The highlight of Versatalia was the uniqueness of each event:

Model United Nations (MUN), where students represented countries and engaged in debates on thought-provoking global issues. Over two days, participants displayed exemplary skills in negotiation, humour and critical thinking, making it an intellectually stimulating experience.

The dance and singing competitions brought vibrant energy to the event. Participants in solo performances and group melodies enthralled the audience with Indian folk dances, Western contemporary moves, soulful solos, and captivating group harmonies.

The Trivia Blitz, an engaging quiz competition, tested participants’ knowledge across diverse categories, including current affairs, pop culture, and history. It featured five rounds of mind-boggling challenges, keeping the participants on edge.

The Culinarium, an innovative cookery event, allowed students to showcase their culinary creativity. Teams presented innovative dishes with limited ingredients, blending flavours and aesthetics that left the judges impressed.

The Street Stage Showdown, a street play event, focused on tackling the socially relevant theme of: ‘corruption in daily life’. Teams combined powerful performances with impactful messages, earning applause.

The Words to Strokes art competition invited students to express their interpretations of Maya Angelou’s thought-provoking poem ‘Still I rise’ through painting. The resulting artworks were both creative and inspiring, reflecting the students’ imaginative prowess.

Overall, Versatalia was a grand celebration of teamwork. The event proved to be a resounding success, celebrating camaraderie among houses. The event concluded with a vibrant awards ceremony, leaving everyone motivated for future editions!
