Alumni > Dia Goutham’s SAS (NIOS) Journey 2022-2024

After moving from Sindhi High School Hebbal, I transitioned to SAS under the NIOS curriculum to find a better fit for my learning style. Coming from abroad, I struggled with the traditional methods, so NIOS was a perfect choice—it allowed me to select subjects that matched my interests and needs: English, Basic Computing, Painting, Economics, and Social Studies.

My time at SAS has been transformative. I’ve gained confidence and discovered a competitive spirit I didn’t know I had. The teachers here are incredibly supportive, always ready to clarify doubts and help us excel, especially by providing extensive practice with board papers.

Looking ahead, I’m considering Mount Carmel College or Jain College for my 11th and 12th grades. My love for Economics, thanks to an amazing teacher, has inspired me to pursue it further in my degree. For my master’s, I’m aiming for Japan, known for its top-tier design universities.
