Alumni > Shivpratap Singh’s NIOS Journey (Batch of ’22)

After seven years in VNS’s ICSE section, my demanding cricket schedule began to clash with school, making it hard to keep up. Shifting to NIOS in grade 8 was the best decision my parents could have made, thanks to the school’s guidance and support.

My three years in NIOS were incredible. The teachers were exceptionally supportive, creating a learning environment that felt like home. The flexible curriculum allowed me to dedicate time to cricket without sacrificing academics.

Recently, I completed my 2nd PU with distinction and am now pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at St. Joseph’s University while playing senior division cricket. NIOS played a pivotal role in my journey, and I highly recommend it to parents of aspiring athletes—it’s a decision worth making.
