Kannada Rajyotsava (Karnataka Formation Day) holds great historical significance as it is the day when the Kannada speaking regions were unified and given the identity of a separate state. Therefore, through the month of November, grand events are held across Karnataka. At VNS too, we celebrated the glory of Karnataka in the morning assemblies which were conducted by our children with pride and enthusiasm. They shared facts about the culture and heritage of the state. This was followed by cultural performances that included songs and dances featuring the rich culture, traditions and language of this beautiful state.

During the morning assemblies,  students took center stage, captivating the audience with a series of heartfelt performances that highlighted the essence of Kannada heritage.

The celebration began with an inspiring song, which beautifully conveyed the pride and love for the Kannada language. Dressed in traditional attire, the young students showcased their talent through a folk dance, evoking the rich traditions of Karnataka. Each performance was a testament to their hard work and the teachers’ guidance, making the occasion even more memorable. This Kannada Rajyotsava celebration left everyone with a renewed sense of pride in our state and its cultural heritage.
