ISCSchool > Catalyzing Innovation: Anirudh’s Journey through the National Youth Festival and BITS Pilani Young Entrepreneurs Bootcamp

Selected from a competitive pool of 30 lakh students, Anirudh. V of Grade XI earned his spot among the top 3000, showcasing his exceptional talent and innovative thinking. Throughout the festival, he experienced a series of inspiring events:

  • Day One: Teams from across India pitched their ideas through presentations to an esteemed jury comprising representatives from various ministries. The day culminated in an enlightening visit to the PM Museum, followed by a dinner with Union Minister Prahalad Joshi, Minister of Consumer Affairs.
  • Day Two: An engaging panel discussion featured experts such as the Chairman of New Space and prominent figures like Ritesh Agarwal, offering fresh insights and perspectives.
  • Day Three: Ideas discussed over the previous days were presented to the Prime Minister, followed by lunch with dignitaries and a short, yet impactful, conversation with the Prime Minister.
  • Final Event: Upon reaching Bangalore, the participants were felicitated by the Commissioner of Youth Affairs at the ministry office.

 Young Entrepreneurs Bootcamp at BITS Pilani

Anirudh further demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit at the Young Entrepreneurs Bootcamp, where he was selected as one of the top 144 students from a pool of 10,000. The six-day bootcamp was an intensive program filled with training sessions, workshops, and interactive lectures:

  • Training Sessions: The first five days were packed with sessions on design thinking, an IoT workshop, and a drone workshop.
  • Industry Insights: Participants visited the incubation center at BITS Pilani and had the opportunity to converse with young entrepreneurs, gaining firsthand insights into the world of innovation and startups.
  • Pitch Day: On the final day, after days of learning and ideation, Anirudh pitched his startup idea. His impressive presentation earned him the runner-up position in the contest.

Anirudh V.’s achievements at these national events are a testament to his hard work, creativity, and the spirit of innovation. His journey not only brings immense pride to our school but also is an inspiration to his peers to strive for excellence in all their endeavors.
