Nilaaya Reddy, a student of grade 11, was chosen to represent Karnataka in the under 16 and under 18 National Basketball Championships held in Pondicherry and Indore, respectively. Her team clinched the gold in the under 18 category and secured silver in the under 16 championship. Additionally, she was awarded a cash prize of Rs 75,000 by both the state and national associations for her outstanding performance.
