Four students from VNS showcased their exemplary skills at the Youth Indian Parliament (YIP) session held in Delhi on 30th November and 1st December 2024. After successfully clearing the regional round in Bangalore in August, they were among the 130 students from across India who made it to the final round.

During the session, the young parliamentarians engaged in thought-provoking discussions on crucial national issues, including amending BNS laws, women’s safety, reforming marriage laws, and tackling agricultural stubble.

We are immensely proud to announce that two of our students emerged victorious, bringing accolades to VNS:

• Anirudh Vijayan (Grade 11) received the “Most Effective Critique in YIP Award” for his insightful analysis and debate skills.
• Vidhu Uthappa (Grade 9) won the “Best Minister Award” for outstanding leadership and policy-making.

Their achievements highlight their dedication, critical thinking, and passion for governance.
