The children of grade 1 and Grade 2 were taken on a field trip to Rangoli Gardens, Jakkur, Bangalore. Grade 2 went on the 23^rd August, 2024 and Grade 1 went on 30^th August, 2024.

The purpose of the field trip was for them to observe and record how life in a village is different from their own, which is in a city. Rangoli Gardens with its rustic landscape and scores of astonishingly realistic sculptures was a near to perfect depiction of village life. It was a great learning experience for children as they excitedly made notes of their observations. They were fascinated by many aspects of village life and had lots of questions to ask and ponder upon. They were also enthralled by the magic show that they were intrigued by. They also got the opportunity to go on a tonga ride with their friends which they enjoyed the most. Their joy knew no bounds when they were surprised with a music and dance floor after a delicious meal, where they sang and danced to their heart’s content. It was an enjoyable day that fulfilled the dual purpose of learning and having fun with friends, and that it was in a setting outside of school, added to the delight.
