In an exceptional display of skill and determination, young chess prodigy Aadya Ranganath has emerged triumphant at the prestigious Western Asia Chess Championship held in Kyrgyzstan from June 30th to July 10th. Aadya’s remarkable performance earned her a total of three gold medals, firmly establishing her as a force to be reckoned with in the chess world. She secured the coveted top spot in the Rapid category, showcasing her ability to think quickly and strategically. Additionally, Aadya contributed to Team India’s success by leading them to victory in both the Rapid and Classical team events, highlighting her invaluable contributions as a team player. Notably, she also clinched two silver medals, finishing as the runner-up in the Classical category and contributing to Team India’s second-place finish in the Blitz team event.
