Students from grades 1 to 7 participated in the 1^st DCA State Level Inter School Chess Tournament 2023 held in Bengaluru on 11^th February 2023.

1. Aadya Ranganath from grade 4 won the 1^st place in ‘C ‘category.
2. Aanya Neel Vora from grade 6 won the 4^th place in ‘D’ category.
3. Anahita Santhosh Menda from grade 3 won the 7^th place in ‘B’ category.
4. Ridhima Menda from grade 1 won the 8^th place in ‘D’ category.
5. Devisha Menda from grade 7 won the 11^th place in ‘D’ category.

Overall, Vidya Niketan School won 2^nd place in the Girls’ category.
