Sports Achivements > *VNS Shines at the 16th State-Level School Olympics Athletics Championship*
The 16th State-level School Olympics Athletics Championship, organized by the Youngsters Sports Promoters Trust, took place on July 26th and 27th, 2024, at the Jayanagara Synthetic Stadium. The event saw participation from 86 schools and 1,865 athletes, with VNS contributing a strong contingent of 56 students who delivered remarkable performances.
*Outstanding Achievements by VNS Students:*
- *Talia Medappa (Girls U-8)*: Dominated her category, winning two gold medals in the 50m and 100m races.
- *Kavya Vijay (Girls U-10)*: Secured a silver medal in the 60m race.
- *Pranav Promod (Boys U-12)*: Excelled in the high jump event, earning a gold medal.
- *Avantika (Girls U-12)*: Claimed a silver medal in the high jump event.
- *Ava Rachel (Girls U-12)*: Won a bronze medal in the high jump event.
- *Esha Patel (Girls U-12)*: Showcased her strength, winning gold in the shot-put event.
- *Varshini Patel (Girls U-12)*: Took home a silver medal in the shot-put event.
- *Chinmay (Boys U-8)*: Earned a silver medal in the 100m race.

- *Girls U-10 Years 8x60m Relay Team*: Consisting of Siya, Kavya, Dhrithi, Ritha, Lithisha, Eeksha, Aarna, and Amaira, this team sprinted to victory, winning gold.
- *Girls U-8 Years Relay Team*: Featuring Talia, Kashish, Aashvi, and Parvathi, this team earned a bronze medal.
- *Boys U-10 Years Relay Team*: Comprising Ark, Pradhyuth, Rithvik, Samitr, Jihaan, Aneevrath, Shrsht, and Tanay, this team won a bronze medal.
- *Girls U-12 Years 4x100m Relay Team*: Ava, Riddhi, Nikitha, and Tanvi joined forces to win a silver medal.
- *Boys U-12 Years 4x100m Relay Team*: Abhir, Prathyush, Aryan, and Pranav secured a bronze medal for their team.
- *Girls U-14 Years Relay Team*: Bianca, Charvi, Tanayaa, and Impana earned a silver medal.
*Overall Team Success:*
The VNS girls’ team emerged as the Overall Team Champions, earning a cash award of ₹25,000. The boys’ team also performed admirably, securing third place overall and receiving a cash award of ₹10,000.
