The recently concluded KISA basketball state level meet held at Christ Academy witnessed an impressive display of skill and determination by the VNS basketball teams. Over 220 school teams from across Karnataka participated in the event, making it a highly competitive platform.

VNS proudly entered all six categories of the tournament, including Under 14 boys and girls, Under 17 boys and girls, and Under 19 boys and girls. The results were outstanding as VNS secured podium finishes in five out of the six categories. Under 14 boys emerged as champions, while the Under 14 girls secured a respectable third place, earning the bronze medal. The Under 17 boys and girls teams both came in second, clinching the silver medals. The Under 19 girls also performed exceptionally well, securing the silver medal.

Additionally, 16 VNS players have been selected for the Karnataka state team at the national basketball meet in Tuticorin this November. This accomplishment highlights VNS’s dedication to nurturing talent.
