The elective English students of ISC went to Bangalore International Center to watch a dance performance  titled Black and White conceptualized by Devjani Das on Sunday, 18th September 2022.

The play explored the tragic fates of Draupadi and Lady Macbeth. This production juxtaposes two different dance forms- Odissi and Kathakali- to acknowledge women’s inner strength and determination.

The play was insightful and thought-provoking for students. It made them think about their own cultures and the position of women in the society.
