South Zone Athletics Championship was held at Guntur, Andra Pradesh from 9th to 11th September 2022.
- S participated in 33rd National South Zone Athletics Championship held at Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) and represented Karnataka State in the High Jump Event. She won a silver medal. Kudos to her spirit and enthusiasm! Congratulations!

Medal winners in Karnataka state Junior & Senior Athletics championship and CISCE KARNATAKA Regional Athletics championship
CSISE NATIONAL ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP was held in Shivaji Chatrapati Stadium, Pune, from 4th to 6th November 2022.

Rish.GN and Abhipsha.M were a part of 4x100m Relay Karnataka team and they reached finals.
Abhipsha won a silver medal in Girls U-14 Shot put event at the CISCE National Athletics championship Pune & Qualified for SGFI School National Athletics Championship
Tasha won a silver medal in Girls U-14 High Jump event in the CISCE National Athletic Championship, Pune & Qualified for SGFI School National Athletics championship
Deekshit won a bronze medal in Boys U-17 High jump event (1.68 mt) in the CISCE National Athletics championship, Pune.
Team Karnataka - Girls U-14 won a silver medal in 4x100mt Relay. Abhipsha was part of the Relay Team.
Team Karnataka - Boys U-14 won a bronze medal in 4x100m Relay. GN was a part of the Relay Team.
Chandramouli R - State level Kalarippayattu Championship
Chandramouli R of ninth grade participated in the State-level Kalarippayattu Championship held in Bangalore and won 2 Gold and 1 Bronze medals. He has also been selected for the Nationals that are going to be held in Kerala. He will represent Karnataka.
Aadhya Ranganath from fourth grade represented India in the World Under 10 Cadets Girls Chess Championships held in Batumi, Georgia from 15th September,2022 to 28th September 2022. Her overall rating increased by 132 points. She started as the 45th seed and finished 14th. What an exemplary display of discipline and perseverance!
She was also a part of the team representing India in the Asian Youth Chess Championship in Bali, Indonesia held from October 13th to October 22nd, 2022. The team won a Silver medal in Classical Category and a Bronze medal in Blitz Category. Congratulations!
The VNS Basketball teams took part in the KISA Basketball State Level Meet on 3rd , 4th & 5th of August, 2022. The event was held at Carmel Academy, Bannerghatta Road. The Under 14 Girls and Under 17 Boys won the first place. In fact, 19 players from VNS team have been selected to represent Karnataka State Team at the National Basketball Meet which is going to be held in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, in the month of November 2022.

Atharva Nawarange of grade 7 participated in the U-13 State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament hosted by the Malleshwaram Association on Sunday, 9th October 2022. He won the first prize by defeating Gaurav Gowda.
- Atharva Nawarange of grade 7 won silver medals in the team event as well as singles in the Under -14 CISCE National Table Tennis Tournament held at NPS International, Chennai-TN, between13th October 2022 and 15th October 2022.
- Siddhanth Vasan of grade 9 won a silver medal (team event) in the Under -17 CISCE National Table Tennis Tournament held at NPS International, Chennai-TN, between13th October 2022 and 15th October, 2022.
Arav Mangesh of grade 5 participated in 24th Dr. M. S. Ramaiah State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament (Under 11 boys) and was awarded the Runner-up trophy. Congratulations for this achievement!

Siddharth Akhil of grade 10 played an instrumental role in the Cricket League Tournament organized by KSCA held in August 2022 where his team, Vishweswarapuram CC headed straight towards victory because of his century (112) against RVCE.
Paryah K. Shah of grade 2 became a certified Black Belt in October 2021 by World Taekwondo Federation, Kukkiwon, South Korea. He won two gold, one silver and one bronze medal in various categories in the Open State Level Championships.
Atharva Nawarange of grade 7 participated in the Karnataka State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament organized by Belgaum District Table Tennis Association in August 2022. He was crowned U13 and U15 winner. Congratulations for this marvelous victory!
The Karnataka Athletic Association organized 1st National Javelin Day Competition and Kids' Athletics Meet 2022 at SreeKanteerava Stadium, Bangalore, on Sunday, 7th August 2022. The students of VNS bagged several medals and put up an exemplary display of sportsmanship.
The under 16 VNSC Club Team was runner’s up at the State Youth Championship which was organized by the Karnataka State basketball Association in Kanteerava Stadium in the month of August 2022. Kudos to the boys who displayed their grit and eagerness for victory by defeating several teams.
In the recently concluded CISCE Table Tennis Games, Siddhant Vasan (9A) and Atharva Nawarange (7E) won agold medal in the Under 17 boys and a silver medal in the Under 14 boys respectively.
These boys will further represent Karnataka ICSE Schools in the upcoming nationals.
Arav Mangesh Nawarange of Grade 5 secured 2nd position in the Karnataka State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament organized by Mysore Table Tennis Association, Mysore. The event was organized between 23rd August and 25th August 2022.
The VNS Under-16 Basketball Team participated in the Claret Cup 2022, organized by St. Claret School, and won the championship by defeating DPS South in the final match. The Best Individual Player Trophy was awarded to Daksh Magesh.
Anshul Sai of grade 8 participated in the MECO-FMSCI National Karting Championship ROTAX-MAX Classes Round 1 2022 held on 17th June 2022. He secured 2nd position in Junior Class. In the National Merius Cup-2022 Junior MAX Open Round-3 held on May 7th, 2022, he bagged the winner’s trophy. Congratulations, Anshul! That’s a great feat!
In 14th State Level School Athletic meet organized by YSC Athletic Club, Advika Aditya won Best Athlete Award in Girls U-16 category. Girls U-12 and U-14 teams won the Overall Championship.
The Athletic Team of VNS (U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, U16, U-18- boys and girls) participated in the 14th State Level School Olympics Athletics Championship 2022 which was held at Sree Kanteerava Stadium between 15th and 17th July 2022. VNS team bagged 18 gold medals, 10 silver medals and 37 bronze medals. Advika Adityawas crowned the Best Athlete in Girls U-16 category.

Siddhant Vasan, along with his teammate, Teshub Dinesh, participated in State Level Under 15 (Boys) Karnataka Mini Olympics and won a gold medal. The event was held in May 2022. He also bagged a bronze medal.
Siddhant participated in the All India Level Table Tennis Tournament (Central Zone) and reached round 32. This was an event for Under 15 boys and was held in Indore between 22nd and 25thMay 2022.
In the National Grand Finale (for Under 15 boys) that was held this week, Siddhant qualified for the Mains and the match ended in a draw (he played till round 64).

Atharva Nawarange has secured "Third" place in the "Cadet Boys (U-13)" event in the recently concluded Shri. CVL Shastry Memorial Table-Tennis State Championship 2021. En-route to semi-finals, Atharva won a close match against No. 2 seed player.
The tournament was conducted by Karnataka State Table Tennis Association from 19th September to 22nd September 2021 at Malleswaram Association, Bangalore.

He was the 5th fastest go karting racer in India. He moved to JUNIOR MAX Category from MICROMAX and only with 5 days of practice, he finished the race by bagging 8th place in the championship. He has practiced karting both in India as well as Italy and now is getting ready for this year’s FMSCI National ROTAX karting championship.

Aadya Ranganath of grade 4 participated in National Chess Championship (for under 10 girls), which was held in Jammu between 26th April 2022 and 1st May 2022. She bagged a silver medal. As a recognition of her excellent performance, she has been awarded Rs.50000 cash prize and has been presented with the opportunity to represent India in the Asian and the World Chess Championship, which will be held in Georgia. Congratulations!
